Originally accredited by Investors in People in 2013; on their second assessment, E. R. Williams have sailed straight past the Bronze level by continuing to embrace high-performance working principles across the business and further demonstrating their commitment to their workforce.
Lindsay Williams, Office Manager and Investors in People Internal Assessor, said “Investors in People is an important benchmark of success – gaining the Silver award is a glowing tribute to everyone at E.R. Williams. We wanted to establish an industry benchmark during our assessment using data collected from the Construction sector. We’re proud to say that a detailed analysis of our organisation showed our results were significantly higher than the industry standard, in every section of the new framework.”

Manchester-based external assessors IDG identified key strengths including the company’s excellent quality and reputation; a loyal workforce with pride in their work; excellent staff competence and capabilities. “Employees feel the company is a great place to work”.
E.R. Williams will use the feedback received to continue to develop the business, with the excellent support provided by IDG and Investors in People, aiming to achieve higher levels of accreditation over the next five years.

Williams (Painting Contractors) Limited is a family-run business, established in 1970, employing over 40 local, skilled operatives, providing high quality painting and decorating services, pre-paint repairs and specialist finishes, to both private and public sector clients based around the North West of England.
